Soil Vapor Intrusion in New York State DVD

Soil vapor intrusion, the process by which volatile chemicals move from subsurface source into the indoor air of overlying buildings, has recently emerged as a public health concern at many hazardous waste sites throughout the country.

This 60-minute DVD from the University at Albany School of Public Health’s “Public Health Live – T2B2” Series, provides an overview of soil vapor, as well as insight into how public health and environmental officials are evaluating and addressing exposures related to soil vapor intrusion. Krista Anders, PhD, Public Health Specialist, presents.
