Prevent MRSA in your facility today by placing these posters throughout your facility.
Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a type of bacteria that is resistant to certain antibiotics including methicillin, oxacillin, penicillin and amoxicillin. MRSA infections occur most frequently among persons in hospitals, nursing homes, dialysis centers, and other healthcare facilities. MRSA infections that are acquired by persons outside of healthcare facilities are known as CA-MRSA or Community-Associated MRSA infections. Staph or MRSA infections in the community usually manifest as skin infections, such as pimples and boils, and occur in otherwise healthy people.
This package includes 5 different posters that convey striking imagery and messages to help prevent MRSA infections. The 11x17 posters, which were developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, are useful to a wide variety of audiences including: hospitals, long term care facilities, dialysis centers, day care centers, schools, military and police academies, gyms, and sports centers.
