CDCynergy 3.0 is an interactive training and decision-support tool used for planning, managing, and evaluating public health communication programs. It is also used to guide and assist users in designing health communication interventions within a public health framework. Originally designed to help Centers for Disease Control and Prevention staff systematically plan communication programs within a health context, it is now a planning tool of choice among health communicators, educators, and other healthcare professionals at the national, state, and local level.
CDCynergy 3.0 allows users to assemble the pieces of a health communication plan systematically by answering questions in a specific sequence. The planning model is designed to guide the user through conceptualizing, planning, developing, testing, implementing, and evaluating health communication activities, while promoting accountability and evaluation.
The two-disk resource presents the user with a step-by-step detailed tutorial, case examples, a media library, a cumulative evaluation plan, and a wealth of resources. The program also provides a link to a template to aid in constructing a detailed intervention campaign.
